Welcome to Little Whale Cove!

Little Whale Cove is a very special Planned Unit Development of 268 single-family home-sites on 140 acres in Depoe Bay, Oregon, a "city" with a total population of 1,200. We are a unique community of pet-friendly, outdoorsy people from varied geographic and cultural backgrounds, enjoying a relaxed but active lifestyle on the central Oregon coast. We live in a forest, where it meets the ocean, high atop cliffs made from volcanic lava and sandstone.
This Northwest gem includes 40 acres of Common Area, including a recreation center with heated indoor pool, exercise and meeting rooms, library and kitchen, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, with 3 miles of roads and 3 miles of paths that meander through rainforest woodlands and along breathtaking ocean cliffs. Some of these paths lead to our namesake, "Little Whale Cove," a freshwater pond created by 3 streams, where they join the Pacific Ocean.
Little Whale Cove is truly a special community. Beyond the obvious, there's a rich history, ecology and diversity of flora and fauna.  An active and involved membership offers ample opportunity to meet your peers, join a social club, enjoy musical concerts, volunteer, learn yoga, take a swim class or enjoy educational lectures, barbecues, seasonal pot-lucks and holiday parties. Or you can hibernate and work on your project all winter long.  Nobody is going to tell!
We hope you'll like it here. Thanks for visiting!
